Purple Crocus

“April showers bring May flowers . . . “ and in this case the timing was a bit off.  It was mid-April when I came upon this bed of crocus' blooming in the cold, damp soil on a rainy day.  They were just what I needed to erase the gloom I was feeling as I ran my errands.  And the little honey bee showing up as I snapped the shutter was an unexpected treat.   Was surprised they were out working this early in the spring.
